Some time ago I upgraded my Reality 2.5 to the new version 4. It was a big delusion, it was full of bugs and the new interface was a bit, uhm... not user friendly, but since I'm always an optimist I awaited for some bug corrections and, maybe, some way to make the user's life a bit easier in doing simple tasks like changing the specularity of a surface. I also thought that, in the end, I'll become accustomed to the new interface and I'll start enjoying the "improvements" introduced by the new version. And, in fact, there is the new 4.0.5 version that... corrects nothing   The most annoying bug is the fact that, each time I modify the scene, I have to manually delete all the files made by Luxrender, otherwise it will continue to render the previous version of the image.
Well, I may actually live with that but what I really can't understand is how to make changes to the surfaces. I swear, I've read the manual, many times. I've watched the video tutorials, I've read the forums posts, and I made my decision: I give up. Sorry, I don't understand why to set up a surface in Reality had to become so complex when it was a task so easy in the previous version.
I may of course revert back to the 2.5 version, but since the new version was a total waste of money, I want to waste some other and try Luxus, the other Luxrender converter for DAZ Studio :D
Any of you may please give me some impressions on Luxus? How it performs? Does it comes with a manual that is actually helpful or it has just the usual, useless video tutorials? How difficult it is to learn how to use it?
Thank you very much to anyone that wants to help me :aww:

I am still using Reality 2.5. No Bugs, easy workflow, expected results !! (and i can load my custom saved reality shaders) No need to change.
